Meet your Occupational Therapist
Stephanie Vance, MOT, OTR/L
I am the owner and Occupational Therapist at Home Grown Pediatric Therapy.
I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Human Physiology and Psychology from the University of Oregon. I completed my Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX, in 2017.
During my graduate internships, I received specialized training in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and in outpatient care for fragile infants, toddlers, and children. I spent almost six years working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary outpatient pediatric clinic before transitioning to three years of in-home pediatric therapy.
Over many years as a therapist, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of therapy in a child’s natural environment, whether at home, in the community, or in the healing space of nature. I believe that supporting children where they feel most comfortable fosters deeper connection, regulation, and growth.
I have advanced training in neuroaffirming and trauma-informed care, primitive reflex integration, neurodevelopmental treatment, oral motor intervention, and aquatic therapy. I am currently pursuing formal certifications in Primitive Reflex Integration and Nature-Based Occupational Therapy to continue expanding my skills and provide the most holistic, developmentally supportive care possible.

When I am not working, I am home or adventuring with my husband, our two children and our silly corgi.
